*please note that reindeer hides are not meant for everyday traffic and must be kept away from heat sources. They are sacred objects that need a gentle touch and care. These are decorative hides, meant for connecting with the Source, as opposed to our sheepskin hides which are functional. 

These hides are herded from the Sami people,  nomadic tribes travelling the cells of Sweden, Finland, and Northern Russia. This collection originates from Russia, where the grazing is plentiful and the hides are extremely hearty and thick. The reindeer provide meat, milk, and raw materials for clothes and tools.

Reindeer fur is very different than sheepskin or goat. It's incredibly dense, while soft. I tried to capture the fur depth in a close up photo. Oddly, these pelts weigh less than sheepskin. They are lightweight. These pelts are absolutely gorgeous and look great in any form. Style them on the floor, the couch, the bed, pretty much anywhere. But you'll also want to get cozy with them, as the fur is delightful.

Care: This pelt does not need to be brushed. It also can not be washed.  You can vacuum the hides or shake them out.  *Make sure to keep the hides away from heat such as fires, vents and heaters. Exposure to high heat will cause them to shed. 

Each pelt is exclusive and one-of-a-kind. There's never a duplicate!
