Description

Keeps your lower back warm, your kidneys regulated, reduces back pain, and supports postpartum mothers.

Measuring about 50" in length and 10" at its widest point, the belt offers a generous fit while the elastic design allows for additional stretch and flexibility when needed.

East Perrys' founder learned the importance of keeping the lower back warm while living in Eastern Europe. Maintaining warmth and protecting the lower back from cold exposure is crucial for optimal kidney and organ health, a concept also emphasized in Chinese medicine. Exposure to cold can increase the risk of ailments such as the common cold, flu, kidney stones, and UTIs. Medical-grade sheepskin is an excellent fiber for ensuring organs remain at their ideal temperature and for alleviating lower back pain.

Care:
Machine washing can often ruin the hide, especially if the leather backing gets wet or dries too slowly. The safest method is to spot clean. Use cold water, a gentle wool shampoo (diluted with water), and a careful hand. Focus only on the soiled area, keep the leather dry, and make sure to dry it quickly—using a hair dryer is actually ideal to prevent the hide from stiffening or shrinking.

ABOUT OUR NATURAL SHEEPSKIN

Our sheepskin is sourced from free-range sheep raised in the mountains of Europe by small, family-run farms. We work closely with skilled artisans who have spent generations preserving the ancient craft of working with sheepskin—an art passed down through families and honored through careful, hands-on making. Our hides remain naturally lanolin-rich, unlike many sheepskins on the market that are stripped during industrial tanning processes. This is the result of a traditional, gentle tanning method that protects the fiber’s natural structure and the restorative qualities that make sheepskin feel so uniquely calming.
